The team at EviDent Family Dental is top notch! From the moment I walked in the door, I knew this was the office I was meant to be at. The entire staff was welcoming and put me at ease. Dr. Larson explained everything to me in detail and made me feel like a friend, not a patient! My family and I have found our forever office!

I just had the most pleasant teeth cleaning experience. Emily was gentle and friendly throughout my cleaning. Dr. Larson was very personable in my post-cleaning exam and made sure I had no questions or concerns. The entire staff was welcoming from the moment I arrived. I have already made appointments for my children for next week because I was so impressed with how well they take care of their patients. Beautiful facility, amazing staff!!

Grateful the Lord has brought EviDent to New Albany and lead me here! Also, how nice to be able to walk to my first appointment! I just had a cleaning done, but the experience was great. From beginning to end, all staff were kind and helpful. I so appreciated that Dr. Larson took the time to read my notes in the new patient paperwork, had an understanding of my health, and provided insight into how it relates to my teeth. Thank you, EviDent team!

The best dental experience I’ve ever had! Everyone there was so welcoming and nice. Alison got me an appointment quickly and made sure I had everything ready for when I got there. Emily and Dr. Larson explained everything they were doing and gave great care and time when cleaning and examining my teeth. Going to the dentist can be stressful but everyone there made the experience enjoyable, highly recommend them!

Had an AMAZING experience- by far the best dentist experience I’ve ever had. They are so respectful, and they are very much accepting new patients. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful, the hygienist was so kind and personable and good at her job, and the doctor is phenomenal - all new technology is used and they even make their own teeth guards, etc. HERE IN THE BUILDING since he's so experienced. He's so personable- everyone is. They have a wide knowledge of insurance, what it can cover or not cover, etc., and a wide knowledge of dentistry. They were transparent and fully honest with me. Again, it was the best dentist experience, from making the first phone call to schedule the appointment to finishing the appointment. HIGHLY recommend!!!

From the front office staff to the hygienist to the dentist, everyone was so friendly and helpful. I only left my previous dental office because they stopped taking my insurance, but EviDent was definitely a great alternative. I look forward to returning in the fall for my next 6-month appointment.

I had my first experience with this office upon receiving an invitation from one of the staff to check them out. I was given a tour of the facility and was amazed at the new dental technologies that the staff had at their fingertips to make their work efficient and effective. I had a chance to meet and get acquainted with Dr. Larson and was impressed with his education and training and the services that his office could offer. He was very personable and we seemed to hit it off immediately with bit of us having Biology backgrounds. I made an appointment for a cleaning and the hygienist (Emily) was incredible. Her demeanor put me at ease and I received the most thorough cleaning that I have ever received. Following my appointment I persuaded my wife to become a patient and am working on getting my adult daughter to also make the switch. I have known the office manager for many years and this practice will be run with the greatest efficiency. Since they are a locally owned small business they set their own pricing which is very reasonable and I was pleased to see that they were in network with my dental insurance. Give Evident a try and you will be convinced that you have found a great place to have your dental work done.

I normally don't leave reviews very often but my first visit to EviDent was too good not to. The whole staff was very kind and professional. They make you feel at home while providing top notch service. Dr. Larson used a 3D printer to design and fit an onlay for me, which no dentist in this area has ever done. With this state of the art procedure, he is definitely ahead of his time in this field. Can't say enough good things about them, just make sure you try them out!

What a wonderful staff! They are far and away the best I've ever visited. Just go once and you'll feel the same way. This is what going to the dentist SHOULD be like. They are professional yet approachable. They explain things and take the time to listen. They make it clear they are always there to help. I can't say enough. Do yourself a favor and give them a try!

I cannot say enough great things about the entire team at Evident. I scheduled for a cleaning which went incredibly smoothly, my technician took amazing care of my teeth, and was even able to remove old glue left from prior orthodontia work that had been left years before! We discovered a small procedure was needed. I was scheduled quickly, came in for the procedure and was completely taken care of, with as little discomfort as possible. This business very obviously takes pride in taking care of patients to the highest standard. I won’t go anywhere else for my dental needs! Thank you Evident!

I recently had the very good fortune to visit EviDent Family Dentistry for my first appointment, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! I was immediately made to feel welcome by Alison at the front desk. My hygienist, Emily, is absolutely the best. She was thorough and gentle, explaining everything she was doing as she proceeded. Dr. Larson finished his exam and explained a few issues he wanted to keep an eye on. While making some suggestions for future treatment, there was never a hint of “high pressure salesmanship”. And then he sat and talked with me for 15 to 20 minutes just getting to know me. Dr. Larson and his staff are friendly, caring, and competent, and I am so happy that I found them.

FAQ

There can be many signs which indicate the need for a root canal on one of your teeth. Lasting hot/cold sensitivity, swelling in the gum tissue, a draining abscess in the mouth, or pain when biting can be indicators that the nerve inside the tooth is damaged and needs to be removed. Contrary to many patient beliefs, the roots of the teeth remain intact, but the nerve inside the crown of the tooth and the tooth roots is removed alleviates the associated pain. A dental crown is typically placed over the tooth after root canal therapy which protects the tooth and allows the patient to use the tooth normally.
The ADA (American Dental Association) recommends seeing your dentist for regular cleanings and exams every 6 months. In cases of patients with periodontal disease, more frequent vists are required to keep the disease from causing further destruction of the bone supporting your teeth and your soft tissue. Patients may be recommended to visit 3 to 4 times per year instead of only 2.
We use Opalescence Go take home whitening trays in either sets of 10 for aggressive whitening or sets of 4 for maintenance. We also have in office whitening available. Dental Implants are a great solution for missing teeth and are rapidly becoming more and more affordable. It is important to note, however, that even though and implant and crown isn’t a real tooth, they must be cared for in the same manner as your natural teeth. This includes attended regular cleanings and exams at our office, brushing, and flossing. If you are interested in an implant, first a consultation would take place and a 3D scan of your jaws will be taken to determine adequate bone for placement. In some cases, a bone graft is needed to get the desired width to accommodate an implant. On surgery day, the dentist will make hole in slightly increases sizes and then place the implant. The implant would then take 3-4 months to integrate into the bone and become solid. Once the dentist determines your implant is ready to be restored, an impression is taken and an abutment and crown are fabricated by the lab. Once ready, the dentist screws your crown and abutment into the implant. The overall process can be lengthy, but it is necessary to ensure the greatest chance for long term success.
Yes! Most people are familiar with Invisalign clear aligner orthodontics. In many cases, this a suitable alternative to traditional bracket and wire braces. The process begins with taking a scan or impression of your upper and lower teeth. A 3D generated progression video is sent back to us and is shown to the patient to give an idea of what the end result can be. If the plan is acceptable, a series of clear, rigid, plastic trays are made and then fitted onto the patient. Patients will wear each set of trays for 2 weeks at a time, visiting the dentist every 3-5 sets of trays to monitor progress. The trays require much self discipline and must be worn 22 hours a day. If this treatment is of interest to you, please call us at 812-850-2206.
True dental emergencies, such as swelling or a tooth that has been knocked out, require a quick response. If such events occur after regular business hours, please call us at 812-850-2206 and leave a message. Dr. Larson will get back to you promptly to discuss what needs to be done. If other unfortunate circumstances arise, such as a lost temporary crown, chipped tooth, or pain, please call our office. Often times, oral surgery procedures require minimal down time and usually the patient can return to work after the appointment or the following day. Use an ADA approved fluoride toothpaste at least 2 times per day, in the morning and at night, and flossing after meals can help remove plaque and debris which made lead to tooth decay. We also recommend seeing us for your xrays and exams two times per year. Regular exams allow the dentist and hygienist to monitor the state of your teeth and comes in order to prevent the need for treatment over time.

Until recently, the prevailing view assumed lorem ipsum was born as a nonsense text. “It's not Latin, though it looks like it, and it actually says nothing,” Before & After magazine answered a curious reader, “Its ‘words’ loosely approximate the frequency with which letters occur in English, which is why at a glance it looks pretty real.”
